Villa Caracol is located on a cul-de-sac beach road 5 km (3 miles) North of Puerto Morelos. From Cancun Airport take the 307 highway south towards Playa del Carmen and Tulum. At the Crococun Crocodile Zoo, turn left towards the coast. Drive two kilometres to the end of the road and turn left. Drive a further two kilometres north (ocean on your right). Punta Caracol is to be found on the right hand side. Walk in through the right hand side and Villa Caracol is ahead of you, past the pool.

Puerto Morelos, the nearest village is 5 km away, accessible either by a back road or along the highway 307, a 10 to 15 minute drive.

Having your own car will give you more flexibility.  It is a straightforward matter to arrange for a rental car from the airport and for the length of your holiday. There is ample parking on the lane which leads to Villa Caracol.

However, it is also possible to get a taxi from the airport and use taxis, walk or hire bikes for local exploration. Cars can be rented on a daily basis from Puerto Morelos
